Sarcosine might be a life saver from brainvitaminz.com!

I took only 0.5 mg yesterday evening, was nervous to take it, but i did it, i feel energized today
will report after my second dose today. going to rest now, i still need it.

No interactions with clonazepam 1 mg twice daily for the moment and depot abilify.
It’s acting as an anti psychotic i think (hope)

Been using it for quite a while now. Not sure how long. The stuff just works. Bloody amazing. I really take a cognitive hit when I miss a couple of doses.

Sarcosine is a great supplement. No interaction with Risperdal.

There is no evidence that sarcosine works as an anti-psychotic. The research only suggests a moderate reduction in negative symptoms.

I can tell you from the days where I would forget a dose of Geodon that sarcosine isn’t worth a tinker’s damn as an AP. Speaking of AP’s, the Rexulti is ramping up nicely and I’m feeling even better than I did before my Geodon lost its pep. Have gone for hours at a stretch without positive symptoms in the last couple of days. Pretty happy about that.

Same. It has an immediate energizing effects, but for its antipsychotic effects it can take up to 3 to 6 months of very consistent use to reach its full potential. But you can feel long-term improvement at 1 month in my experience.

it’s been used also for acute schizophrenia, the anti psychotic is almost instantly in me i think…

What kind of cognitive effects does it have? I am hesitant to try it because of the reported negative effects on the prostate. I have several genotypes that put me at increased risk of prostate cancer. I do need something to help me organise my thoughts better(executive functioning) though.

What ever you do - don’t stop taking your medication. Sarcosine research only focused on it as a “complimentary” approach to help reduce negative symptoms. I’ve not seen any research that would suggest its helpful in the positive symptoms of psychosis.

What is your relationship with brain vitamins?

Would you say you have a conflict of interest? Or are just happy…
