How long has it taken you guys to recover from this med?

omg im still recovering, from this med like 2 years off it, made me gain 65 pounds, gave me diabetes, and high blood pressure and high triglycerides. But it work great more my mental health thought but the side effects suck so i had to switch.
My personally experience with Risperdone is that it only works if you never have used Conventional antipsychotics eg. Haldol. It didn’t turn out well either for one of my friends who got put on the consta after they had had him on pherpenazine low dose. He got treatment resistant later because risperdone didn’t work. They had to put him on clozapine later because nothing worked any more. He has now used Clozapine the last decade.
Typically, we like to leave inactive threads alone and just start a new thread instead. This is different than how some forums are run, but we do it this way because it frequently upsets users to have old topics revived when they are no longer relevant. It can also be frustrating to the person who revived the thread when they don’t get a reply, because the original poster is no longer active or no longer finds the topic relevant.
