I wonder what they consider “elderly”? Am i considered elderly at 51? I DO know that both my medication status and sleep both play a big part in my relapses, but i never really thought about the other factors, like exercise.

Gerontologists consider people officially elderly at age 65.

Geriatricians (medical doctors), consider you elderly around 50 to 55 years old. @WhiteRaven

So, basically what this study is saying is that as

you get older, to avoid relapse, it’s important to:

  1. Take your meds.

  2. If possible, let your family care for you.

  3. Keep your stress levels low.

  4. Get enough sleep.

  5. Get adequate exercise.
