We have been okay, thanks for asking! She has gone a few months now without a hospital visit so that has been her longest stretch in a over a year. She still needs to put the weight back on, which has been difficult, but we are getting there i think.
We have had a lot of stress concerning our home life with my mother in law and her boyfriend moving in to help pay the bills. Turns out her boyfriend has relapsed and was back on drugs. I didnt really care for him to begin with but kept my mouth shut about it all out of respect for my mother i law. Well i kept my mouth shut for too long and sent me backwards in my recovery. Everything he was doing was detrimental to my mother in law, which then upsets my wife, which pisses me off. It all came to a boiling point last week when i had enough watching this a$$hole take down my family for his own benefit. He started stealing things, not respecting the rules of the house, and disrespecting me and my wife. I wanted to confront him but i know i would lose control and pummel the ba$tard. So my wife made me stay away from him and she took care of it.
We were just going to throw him out on the street, but instead we gave him the opportunity to go to a 90 day treatment program, and told him he could come back when completed. My wife and I dont want him back at all but my mother in law is all upset about it. Hopefully before the 90 days we should have approval for my wife’s SSD and a big retro check. We actually looked at campers to possibly live a good majority of our time on the road, visiting family, seeing sights, etc. Or then we will have the option to let them move out and we get our house back. Its been a total mess and stressing us out to no end, It actually sent me into psychosis for a few days which has been the first time in close to a year.
I also started having flashbacks from the explosion that gave me ptsd, which is a whole new symptom, but im managing.
We are just waiting on this SSD approval to go thru so we are not dependent on anyone any longer and can continue our lives. My wife got sick last oct, 1 month after we got married, so we had to put everything on hold.
We should have our approval within this next month then we just have to see how long until the checks start coming in. Here’s hoping it all goes well!! We could really use a win.
