If you have a Switch then Pokemon and/or Animal Crossing.
Skyrim is good and runs on everything.
Hopscotch.

DOTA 2 is entirely free and really fun if you can be bothered to dedicate lots of time into learning how to play. Honestly not for the feint hearted. Ive played a lot and still learning things. IMO its much better than League that you don’t have to spend any money to be a good player.
If you’ve never played it Skyrim Special Edition is really fun and not complex to learn how to play. You are basically a person (of your own choosing) in medieval times who goes through lots of adventures - there are lots of different quests and characters and you can chose what you do and how your character grows (magic user/archer/warrior). It is very immersive and you can add lots of extra content to your game via nexus mods.

What system are you on? I assumed you were on PC but I remember now that Sims 4 is on lots of platforms.

If you want a free open world where you can inmerse yourself, and even roleplay, I’d suggest final fantasy 14
