Really considering spending 10 days in Chennai to Pondicherry in India. Next March

I’m due to fly to Sri Lanka next March again if my MH stays well. I’m very familiar with Sri Lanka as I’ve traveled there two times before (Will be third time this November)

It’s only a 1.20 minute flight from Colombo to Chennai and costs £130.00 for return tickets. It’s also a good time too travel too Southern Indian in March as well… I’m thinking about spending 16 days in Sri Lanka and 10 days in southern India. Or I could spend 16 days in Southern India, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Chennai. and 10 days in Sri Lanka? I can only travel for 26 days in total as need to be back for the injection.

Question is. I can’t get a direct flights from London to Chennai, I would have to change at Dubai and Dubai airport is stressful I heard, This is the case? I can get a direct flight from London to Colombo, Sri Lanka. And this is a good flight. Sri Lanka is only a small island so it’s easy to get around. Should I spend the most time in India and leave the 10 days for Sri Lanka considering I’m more comfortable in Sri Lank than India? In India I’ll have move time to explore.

It’s something that you’ll have to decide yourself how you want to organize your travel.

I’ve never been to India or Sri Lanka, so I can’t give you any insights.

I’ve been to Dubai airport, it’s large but was very convenient when we going to Dubai/Russia! And travelled in Srilanka but not India.

Up to you if you can manage the flights/accommodation/trips it’s up to you… where are you flying from if you don’t mind me asking?

I’m fly from London Heathrow or London Gatwick.

Yeah we were on stop over in Dubai, heading to Russia and our ticket allowed us to have a lunch/dinner while staying in Dubai!

I almost went to Israel a few years ago on “birthright” trip since I’m half Jewish ethnicity. I was gonna go on the LA trip with my cousin. But then he canceled for medical reasons and I didnt wanna go on the LA trip all alone. So I canceled too. Regretting it now. I should have just gone!!! While you still could.
