I looked up “Mounjaro and Mediterranean Diet” and multiple places say it’s a good idea to go on this diet while on Mounjaro. If I did the diet and stay on Mounjaro it says I could lose 20% of my body weight in fifteen months. That means when I go to Bend, Oregon for my sisters wedding next year I’ll be a lot lighter(not saying how much). The diet is consistently ranked high on most lists of the best diets.
I am on Mounjaro and if I don’t avoid fatty and greasy foods, I’ll pay the price with stomach issues like diarrhea.
Going on a low carb diet is also best with this med.
But yeah, a Mediterranean diet seems ideal @77nick77
Are you losing weight?
It is what I was put on Nick. My cardiologist says it is good for my heart, while keto is dangerous for my heart condition. Also ill-advised because of my liver function being below par (alcoholism).
It’s been a month and half now and I haven’t lost any weight. I haven’t gained any either.
Was it (is it?) hard to follow?
Not at all, I am enjoying it now. I found keto to be brutal, but this is quite tolerable.
That’s good to hear.
