Ranttttt tiiiiimeeeee (forgive me)

So… my step sons mom drives me insane

  1. she lets my step son watch horror movies (which then he comes back to our place and acts like he’s terrified to sleep/has bad dreams)

  2. she gave him a cell phone so he’s on YouTube all the time without her supervision

  3. she says and acts like she has no money to buy him clothes and toys and food and yet bought herself a Nintendo switch… like what??

  4. she is like best friends with my mother in law still🙄 and gets her to pay for a bunch of her sh*t and they’re always hanging out together.

  5. she told my step son he can’t trust anything I say…

Keep in mind my step son is only 9 years old… he thinks his mom is the best mom in the world. He only goes over there every other weekend but still, I wish he would never go to her house. It’s nice having a break once in awhile BUT totally not worth dealing with his attitude when he comes back from her place. It kind of worries me how she’s gonna react once she finds out I’m pregnant… cause I know my mother in law and step son are gonna tell her.

Definitely rant-worthy material. What’s your husband’s attitude toward all of this?

Well he’s honestly barely here so it’s easier for him to just ignore it…

he also doesn’t wanna go through a custody battle/try to get full custody.

That’s called free babysitting. She should have got him a flip phone if they still have those.

That’s called manipulation

Giving a child unrestricted access to the internet is an atrocious idea. I sincerely hope there are at least parental controls.

Right?? Ugh. It makes me so annoyed! Spend time with your kid! Go do something!

I know…

She is kinda crazy lol

Your boy is what 14 now? Even when Sparrow was 13 we had parental controls on the computer

I HIGHLY doubt she has bothered with parental controls…

I could heLP you with installing some if you can get a hold of the device.

If it is an iphone you can even link it to another apple device you own and then control it remotely.

Haha  I love the way you think

Iphone is the best for parental controls. With androids, you generally need to pay for a 3rd party app. Apple devices have parental conteols built in.

LOLOL so sneaky…

But no, there’s no way I could get ahold of the device. He only has it at his moms.
