Is it an addiction? Most users aren’t.

Not I’m not addicted but I am dependent. I use it to medicate to counteract side effects from the abilify

Well my cousin who’s also sz smokes almost daily. She has pretty much resigned to the fact that she will use lifelong.

Even if I just quit for a while I’ll be good. I just need to break cycles of habit.

It’s easy to quit cannabis. I was a heavy user and suddenly stopped. I had a week of sleepless nights so watched late night T.V. I deleted phone numbers and stayed of the scene.

My cousin did go to a rehab center and was clean for a couple of months but she relapsed.

Do you think your insurance will cover it?

A @FreeLunch, good luck with it. The physical withdrawal isn’t horrible, but it’s a bugger in terms of psychological reliance, especially if you have been self-medicating with it to stomp down another problem.

Tell me more about it. I like to laugh with psychological support.

Expect paranoia for a few weeks until your brain goes back to normal.

I love it. Best of luck trying to quit though. I tried quitting many times to the point where I’m like I only live once so I just go with the flow and smoke it.

It’s good with PlayStation and art but I have my breaks every now and then

I got U.

U gotta slowly taper the amount U smoke. Try only smoking at night, for a few weeks.

Then see if U can go without.

When u get urges to smoke, drink some caffeine. It’ll help with the cravings.

Hope this helps.

Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

The thing that sucked for me was insomnia. If your smoking a lot already your tolerance has you basically sober a lot of the time. So your used to being sober more than you think. Just ride being sober. I love it but i cant use because ill start using all the time. Maybe a cool life in my 70s?

I quit cold turkey and everything was instantly better. I can get all the things I was after better then ever. Better high on life. Play music better. Play video games better. My psychosis and delusions have decreased about 20%. No withdrawals. I have cravings even as I type this. But I know whatever I was using for is way better. Less depressed.
