Is it normal to feel that your partner is cheating on you or talking to someone else I read that this is normal for us paranoid schizophrenics? Ps this is my 2nd time asking this question. Can you guys share a experience

I have paranoid schizophrenia and never think about my spouse cheating.
You seem obsessed with the thought and that will 100% backfire.
Desperation and jealousy are red flags and turn-offs.
You should see a therapist.

When I was off meds I thought my partner drugged or poisoned my coffee and food. I also thought her brother is trying to kill me.

I agree with @Charles_Foster big turn off. I had jealous delusions with my ex-wife ruined our relationship. I finally realized years later that the reason I thought she was cheating on me was because I was in my heart cheating on her. I turned it around and suspected her.

If you look up the types or categories of delusions, thinking your partner is cheating is one of them. Delusion of jealousy, one of the most common. Hope this helps you to get past it.

(Trigger Warning) My dad’s dad had this delusion even though my dad’s mom had 9 kids with him, all looking very similar. It was very bad, he even threatened her with a shotgun, so please don’t be like that, please know it is dangerous.

I have this delusion and I am not paranoid schizophrenic. I am schizoaffective bipolar type.

I thought my husband was cheating on me before I was medicated. I was having audio and visual hallucinations to that effect.
Are you medicated? Is there a reason you think your partner is cheating or is this just general paranoia?

Yes, I am medicated. I don’t have any hallucinations as far as audio or visual. Thankfully, my medication works pretty well, but I am on a pretty low-dose maintenance dose I would say.
