I rang the psychiatrist place. The soonest appointment I can get is in about a month and a half. It is at 5:00pm on the 11th of September. I am not bothered by this. It is just as well I increased my dose back to 400mg. I take 200mg in the morning and 200mg at night.
I am not going back with mental health services, because it is not necessary. Plus I disliked dealing with them. As long as I take the medication at the dose it was prescribed to me, then my mental state is fine.
My two deliveries, the single mattress and the groceries, have come earlier on. I basically have done what I wanted to today. @Moonbeam@anon9798425@Ninjastar
I have similar issues with my doc. It’s hard to get in and these days I make appointments every six weeks at least 3 or 4 months ahead. Knowing yourself and your symptoms is a good thing!
@anon26860655 Given that it takes so long to get back in with mental health services and to get an appointment with a pdoc, it seems like it would be a good idea to get in with them now when you’re feeling good so that you have this resource readily available should you hit a rough patch in the future.
A pdoc would be better qualified to advise you on med adjustments than would your GP.
@Moonbeam I made an appointment with a private psychiatrist. The Indian one.
I am not going back to the government community mental health services. They are a service who are for people who are at their sickest, but I feel fine now. Maybe it is a bit confusing.
This is literally the soonest appointment I can get. It is a private psychiatrist. It is not the government services. I am going to a pdoc, and I made an appointment with one. This is the best I can do.
The psychiatrist clinic just rang me and said I can get a sooner appointment, the 1st of September at 10:30am on a Saturday. So in a month. @anon9798425@Ninjastar.
