Psych ward day 2

I’m here at the psych ward. It’s neuropsychiatric meaning neuro+ psych are adjoined together.

The nurses here are super nice. Also I share a room with other two elderly ladies who have had cerebral infraction or a stroke and they were extremely sweet and feeling sad that a young lady got here with neurological disabilities and psychosis.

Today I have a high symptom day and I feel terrible. I have had an extra prn to keep myself safe. I have told my nurse that I have self harm urge and thankfully my nurse trusted me to take my medication on my own. I also have another psych nurse who manages my care. I’m quite grateful for people here, but I think I will be here at least a week.

Make sure your completely honest with your care team, if you feel off even a little tell someone. Glad your getting the help you need.
