People in the study took an insane amount of Propranolol. They took 640 mg daily. I take 40 mg daily and went to the emergency room to get it raised to 60 mg and the docs said no. Where do I find docs like this?

I’m a smoker, and it stops my racing heart.
no, probably nothing for schizophrenia though.

It gives me a calming feeling but the dose I take in the morning lasts me until lunch. I then wanted to take more but I wasn’t allowed to.

It’s just for the side effects from the AP, akathisia is what they gave it to me for. It didn’t work well for me but others have said it has helped. Akathisia itself isn’t part of schizophrenia.
I recently saw an ad for a Tardive Dyskinesia medicine where they mentioned schizophrenia. First time I’ve seen something for TD or akathisia advertised.

I just thought it was worth pointing out in the study they are taking around 15 times more than the recommended dose. It blew my mind

A doc told me the drug was for stage freight and that actors use it. I thought cool.
