Left knee feels like it’s gonna explode. It’s crazy to me that not that long ago if something like this happened you were just done. It would just get worse and worse until you couldn’t function. Count your blessings.

What does the doc say?
I have knee pain because of my hip is weaker on the left side, I need physio. I can’t take long walks.

Nothing yet, I’m seeing him on the 3rd. I went like 6 months ago and got an X-ray and an injection. I’m gonna ask for an mri. From everything I’m reading it’s definitely a torn something 
Edit: I saw him for the knee then a couple months later for sciatica, now for the knee again. Feel like I’m falling apart lol. Gotta lose some weight.

Have you been to a physiotherapist? To me it sounds like you need to start exercising. Sciatica sucks and hurts like hell but isn’t dangerous.

They gave me the number of a physical therapist after the sciatica but I wasn’t in a great place mentally so I didn’t go but it’s really not that bad. More stiff than anything. Im assuming I’ll have to go after they fix my knee up. I’ll mention the sciatica then and maybe they can treat both.

My mother-in-law had to wait four years for her first knee to be operated on and now the doctor won’t return calls on doing the second one. She never received adequate post-op care for the first knee and is still crippled.

My heart is acting up and has been for well over a day now. In the past I’d be in a cardiac ward in a bed under observation. Now there are no beds available and I’ve been sent home and told to try and get in with my cardiologist (six week wait) and come back to the ER if it gets worse. Well if it gets worse good luck because I’ll be unconscious.
Looks this has become a bit of a contest. I assure you, you can’t win. Bend the knee, no need for needles violence.

I’m guessing they’re YOUR cardiologist, like assigned by the system? So you can’t look for one with an earlier opening? Or can you?

He’s the only one in the province who understands my heart condition. The handful of people in Western Canada who have the same problem go to him. That’s about 35 of us in the entire province.
