Perphenazine is a good drug.
Yeah. I really liked it too. No major side effects. I think the mistake was mixing it with a benzodiazepine klonopin. So im asking to just be on prolixin or haldol with hydroxyzine for the minor side effects. Nothing else. I spent years mixing antipsychs and antidepressants and it caused hospitalization. I guess im just odd. I’ve never been able to function on high mgs and mixes.

I would add some benzos to the mix. After that see if you can ride it out. I also live in constant fear on abilify. Just took an ativan, now not afraid to go on the forum. any social situation i turn into a fearful animal.

I just got off of Benzos recently.
Not going back.
Honestly, I don’t miss Klonopin.
Maybe she will raise the risperidone- I’m not sure.
It’s time to try the godfather of all antipsychotics - “clozapine”. It is extremely effective against psychosis/paranoia. It works when other antipsychotics fails

I really like Vraylar but it can be stimulating. Never tried rexulti. Risperdal can be dosed a lot higher than 4 mgs. Up to 16 I think. You could try going up. I tend to need higher doses of meds too and i still have a ton of mental issues but meds do help

I just came back from seeing my psychiatrist and she mentioned if I wanted to try Rexulti.
I said that I wasn’t ready to switch just yet but I think that I might try it in September.
In the meantime she raised my Depakote.
