Printer cartridges are asinine expensive and the refillable kind are more gimmicky than anything.
Epson ink worked out to about $1,400/litre last time I priced it out. It’s not like we’re fighting for the stuff in the Middle East so it shouldn’t be that pricey.
Didnt realise it is so expensive. I only pay £2 for 80 prints a month on HP Instant Ink. And they automatically send new cartridges when the printer tells them its low for free.
As far back as I can remember those cartridges have been expensive. I may be wrong, but it’s my belief that accessories/upgrades to the main object are where customers are hit hard financially.
I belong to that but I’m cancelling. But the X-large ink cartridges last forever.
I only print about 5 pages a month. Funnily enough ive been considering printing out some of the memes from the thread on this site and putting them on my lounge wall lol.
286% cheaper? So they pay you 186% of the original price to take it? I think the journalist needs a crash course in percentages. You can’t just switch it around and say 286% more expensive means the other thing is 286% cheaper. It’s unnecessarily confusing.
Yeah…
Getting a new printer is sometimes cheaper than buying new ink
