Poundcake! Finally!

I have been dying to make a poundcake for a long, long time. I have enough eggs and things now that aren’t earmarked for other meals. I may make one tonight, finally.

I will when I make it. Probably not tonight as my butter is still hard from being frozen. Needs to be soft.

I haven’t made poundcake, my step-father’s sister made them and gave them to us. I prefer them without glaze.

Can’t make it. My butter is still rock hard from the freezer.

You could steam the inside of a glass container, then put it over the butter, upside down for ten minutes.

That sometimes melts it or gets it oily. For this recipe it can’t be either.
