So I posted a topic a couple weeks ago now on how I was kicking smoking for vaping. I was chiefing vapes to curb my cigarette urges. After a week and a half of being on vapes I was getting very bad symptoms of popcorn lung which is from dactel they put in vaping juice. Im still suffering from shortness of breath and hope it gets better, but it’s been nearly 2 weeks from when I started
I’m back on cigarettes now and just feel hopeless as far as kicking cigarette smoking. The thing I wanted every to take away is don’t vape. Smoking never gave me this problem and I’ve been smoking 10 years now. Lozenges or patch do not work for me either. Just putting this out there as a warning.
It’s not for everyone but champix worked for me and I was a horrible nicotine addict. I’d be breaking up dirty butts to get the Tabacco and I didn’t even finish the course. Of your serious about quitting it’s worth a shot but you have to stop…. Too many people go back on which is frustrating.
Did you mean chantix or champics? I have veterans disability and have a veterans affairs doctor and the va won’t prescribe chantix anymore. Is it over the counter? I’d have to ask my doctor on Friday but I do t think I’ll be able to get it prescribed but I wouldn’t mind trying it. Thanks.
It’s prescription but because people abused it by stopping then goi g back to square one it got problematic. It’s clever technology. It’s a partial agonist so it confuses your brain that you’re getting nicotine but you’re not. Talk to your doc. It was so gawdam easy!
My dad smoked for nearly 50 years. He did til the day he died.he had a heart attack on the kitchen floor. By the time we got to him he had only been gone an hour as there was no rigor mortis. I fell apart. Please try to quit. I quit vaping because of nodules on my lungs.
