My landlord helper handed me a door knob because the knob fell off our screen door…it was a kit and I had no idea how to install it…my friend that is a handyman came over and installed thank goodness…anyways, if something big goes wrong they fix it but little stuff like this they leave to me. darnit.

I punched a 7 inch hole in the wall when I was mad. I found a drywall repair kit on Amazon, some spackle and touch up paint and fixed it myself before the apartment manager found out.

We’re waiting for a bunch of repairs. The landlords are putting a new deck on this summer as the current one is getting sketchy. The brand new flooring wasn’t installed properly and gaps are appearing everywhere. The contractor is trying to dodge dealing with it and it’s making us nuts. Part of the problem is that the entire upstairs has to be redone. That means moving our possessions and putting us up in a rental for a few days. I don’t think he can afford the expense.

I’m sorry you are dealing with that. I live in govt housing and everything is taken care of for me and I am so thankful as I can’t deal with repairs and such anymore. But I give up some privacy and space so…
