I’ve owned several guns over the course of my life, but at this point I don’t and my wife is against having one in our home with all of our children, even though I told her we would have a safe or trigger lock.
I chose water pistol to shoot my stink-butt cats. (They’ve started peeing outside of their boxes.) I also spent $160 in vet bills in the past 3 weeks.

When I was in fifth and sixth grade we hunted birds with a BB gun. I guess that was kind of cruel but it was fun at the time and you had to be a pretty good shot to pick off a bird at the top of a 50 foot tree

My cat “marks” around the house. Mostly in the dining room. 
I think he does it mostly when there are cats going through our yard. I spray a deterrent (it’s a spicy smelling spray) on our doorway outside and under the dining room window outside to try to keep outdoor cats from spraying our house. Our cat still sprays but not nearly as often and mostly on his cat tree, which is his after all. Good luck!

TY, TY! We use the rug doctor’s pet spray. It works okay, but the problem is that mom keeps letting Fluffy (the un-neutered male cat) inside. This plus the Christmas tree (which they marked because we had it outside for a week) caused the Urination Apocalypse over the holidays.

I think the spray we use (we’re out of it right now) is called Natures Way or something like that.
Also, same brand, we use the enzyme cat urine cleaner and it literally disintegrates the urine. It doesn’t smell and doesn’t show up under the blue light after we use it.

Lol this poll is not what I expected it to be 
! I would never own a real gun, consider it too big of a risk due to my long history of depression. I chose dart gun, if that’s referring to a blow gun for darts, those are a blast!

Even though I wouldn’t be buying one because money is scarce I would like to have a .45 caliber pistol. I would give it a name too like jane or big bertha. Never know if you have to move to a high crime area. Right now though where I live has almost no risk of being attacked or anything so there is little to make me want one. Should also say that for whatever reason people usually leave me alone. I like knives too and used to have a collection of knives and swords. My family threw away all of my throwing knives after my suicide attempt. I don’t know why everybody that has seen me throw a knife knows that a rock is more dangerous. Anyway I ramble on.
If you put a large, shallow plastic tray (pet stores sell them as a puppy training litter box) and fill it with kitty litter, leave it uncovered, and put it next to any outside door they can sense other cats by, it should end the stinky spraying.
You don’t have to keep it there forever, but just until the stinky pee-peeing ends…I put the plastic tray by the sliding glass door to the back porch when our stink-butts did their pee pee dance, and it worked.
