I don’t know if I’d ever be able to sleep again if I quit taking Invega Trinza injections.

I never had a problem with sleep I sleep now anywhere from 12 to 15 hours a night at this very moment and I think the reason I sleep so much is because of my Iron anemia and deficiency and Anemia and severe sleep apnea even though I wear a CPAP mask every night I still wake up tired had my Iron infusions so will see if that helps boost my energy levels some.

I have chronic insomnia. Spend a lot of most nights awake. When I fall asleep I have bad dreams.

I couldn’t really vote because my current diagnosis is bipolar and my insomnia is not chronic, it varies

I found it very interesting that 66% of the sz’s are without insomnia with meds and sza’s are nowhere near that figure. It seems that sza’s can’t sleep even under the influence of highly sedating drugs.

All I do is sleep, and people accuse me of things a stalker does.

I got the insomnia bad. I have nightmares and take Prazosin for it. I counted that as a sleep med because it’s supposed to help me sleep. Although it doesn’t.

How do you function enough to work? I absolutely cannot function on lack of sleep.

My insomnia is highly variable too @Wave. 97% of the time, I get good sleep. The rest of the time, I get zero sleep, which is tough.

I have had insomnia ever since they put me on generic zyprexa, over 10 years ago. Went on original med 2 years ago. Sleep improved, but it’s still pretty rare I get a good nights sleep.

I seem to get worse sleep with doses above 5mg, so I am on 5mg or less. Luckily this is not a problem symptom wise. My doctor knows. I also take a little gabapentin for sleep and certain supplements. Still every day is a battle for sleep, trying to do all the right things to improve chances of sleep.

i’ve had insomnia my entire life and it was especially bad in my childhood. but at the same time im sluggish and deal with severe fatigue from my arthritis- it’s always my mind being too active that keeps me awake. i was put on seroquel at 14 and it would knock me out but it worsened my overall fatigue and functioning.

meditation was taught to me in the psych ward and its helped me tremendously with quieting my brain and body down enough to sleep. i consider it to have been the cure for my insomnia, but of course what works for me won’t for many others.
