I feel like a lot of people change their username and it’s confusing.
Especially when it comes with an avatar change too.
If they have a private profile, they might as well be a new member.
I kind of feel like we shouldn’t be allowed to change our names.
Just for identification reasons.
Anyone else annoyed by this or is it just me?

Yes, but within limits. Once per year. If constant changes are allowed then it would be nice to have a locked thread where mods can note username changes in the past year. Too confusing otherwise.
It’s something I like about this forum is the community feel. No new names means familiarity like a little family.
I have trouble keeping up when people change names.
I’m thinking of requesting a user name change. Pat6398 doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue. I’d keep the same avatar though.
Nope. Not going to restrict that. People already accuse us of being too strict.
And if someone annoyed anypne enough to get blocked, they could change OR will do tge same and get blocked again, so no foul.
