I voted stay on 4mg if you are stable.

I was in the exact same situation (minus the mania) with regards to my psychiatrist wanting to raise my medication dosage.

My pdoc wanted to increase my Lurasidone to 80mg but I didn’t want to because I feel stable and symptom free on 60mg. He mentioned it several times whenever I saw him but I kept say no. I think he gave up because I’ve been on 60mg for 2-3 years now and I am doing fine.

Yeah that’s the thing, my doctor thinks that I became manic because I’m no longer on Depakote but I told her that the culprit was the Lamictal.
When she lowered the Lamictal dose my manias stopped.
I’m not going to raise the Risperdal dose for now and I’ll talk to her about it when I see her in a couple of weeks. Thanks @Headspark

I also take 100 mg of lamictal and my psychiatrist tells me that I have schizophrenia.
Obviously, psychiatrists do not know anything about the brain or the specific mechanism of action of drugs.
They just do trial and error tests to see if it ‘’ works ‘’.
What a misfortune not to have been born in the year 2100. :joy:

I’ve decided to follow my doctors recommendations and increase my Risperdal dose to 5mg.
I’m becoming increasingly paranoid that my father and brother are planning to kill me.

Thanks @LilyoftheValley!

Yeah she knows what’s best for me.

I’m no longer on Depakote and this is risky for me.

She knows this.
