I do like pools, but I prefer to rent a private home with one so I don’t have to share when I’m on vacation.

When I was a kid yes. Now, I would prefer not to expose my enormous belly for the world to see. Not necessarily because I would be embarrassed so much as I dont want to infringe on the senses of others. :rofl: . It’s just not polite.

I waded in a hotel’s pool when I was in Bermuda but the only people in the pool other than me was my brother
It was a positive experience

I would swim in a pond, as I would swim in a public pool. I dobt like either though.

I just can’t swim with fish anymore Lol I seen snakes swimming around the last pond I was fishing at. No way!

When I was a kid my sister and I went to the public pool almost every day of the summer.

Our house was short walking distance from the whole complex and we just stayed all the time.

Grosses me out in retrospect,

But served as solid entertainment for a lot of my days.

The HOA maintains my neighborhood clubhouse and pool. I’ve lived here two years and never used the pool. My old house also had an HOA maintained neighborhood pool. I never used that pool either in the 23 years I lived in that neighborhood.

when I was a kid I loved swimming in the neighborhood pool or hotel pool when on vacation or any pool really.

Now, i just don’t have any desire to swim in a public pool. Two reasons. One, my skin and eyes get irritated by the chlorine and other chemicals. And, two, the reason those chemicals are added is because of the many people and their asses that are swimming around the pool and their little germs too. I guess it just grosses me out.

We have this too. My kids loved being in the pool from 3 years old until they were middle school age. I thought it was better than maintaining a pool in my own backyard.
