The ‘S’ represents a Swan or a Snake depending on your viewpoint.

Sorry…

Just in a hyper-creative mood tonight. I’ll calm down eventually.

I voted YES!

Thanks @cherie

I still like the red and blue symbolism…but I could change the colours to something else I suppose.

there is no red and blue symbolism…that’s just a bunch of delusional talk…you quit taking your meds again didn’t you ???

I just took my meds 5 minutes ago.

Not my fault if you aren’t capable of seeing the deeper meaning in Art.

The Swan symbolizes grace and beauty on many levels. It is associated with love, music, and poetry.

Snakes represent fertility or a creative life force. As snakes shed their skin through sloughing, they are symbols of rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing.

popcorn anyone… none of those things come to mind when I think of sz… its seems like your romanticizing the illness and down playing how bad it sucks… i know look on the brighter side yadayada… but i think the symbol for sz should represent our struggles and provoke understanding… not paint over the monster with swans and immortal snakes…

I’ll just agree to disagree with you…

My logo symbolizes hope.

I like it. It’s ambiguous enough for many meanings, yet clear enough for one precise nuance.

you want it to be the symbol for sz…so that wasn’t a personal attack just a critique… I don’t hate it nor do I dislike you we just disagree on how it should be represented…

I started this thread to get all kinds of your opinions. Thanks for chipping in.

I wanna hear honest critiques…which is what you gave me.

It should be a man carrying a bottle of orange juice with a limp wearing a winter hat and coat in the summertime

Or a man on fire like the Pink Floyd album cover

I’d like some more opinions please…

Hmmm…

Perhaps just get rid of the letter “Z” and make the schizophrenic symbol simply the half swan/ half snake I created…the letter “S” on it’s own.

But what colour should the “S” be? What would be the appropriate colour that represents our affliction?

I voted “yes” too.

Perhaps the half Swan, half Snake should be coloured ‘maroon’?

Because we often feel isolated or marooned with this illness.

( Just trying to think outside of the box here.)

I like it as it is. There’s a double symbolism in it as it is now: the red/blue and the snake/swan (it could be slightly more ambiguous, to me it looks most like a snake now.) This resonates with my experience with schizophrenia being on the one hand either perceived as a gift, on the other as a curse (swan/snake), and then there’s the distinction between what’s real and not real (red/blue) we’re struggling with.
