so I’ve been pent up in the house for a few months now. it will soon be time to take another weekend trip. which of these 3 places should I go?

I’d say virginia or Tennessee have some nice mountains there.
I was leaning towards virginia. I’ve only been there twice. it seems I go to Tennessee like once a year, it’s my safe pick and my aunt lives there so I don’t have to pay for a hotel.
Virginia is nice.
Go white water rafting on New River in WV. (WV is not western Virginia it’s its own state)
that sounds like a good time. my mom and dad went whitewater rafting on the gulley river in WV when I was younger. im concerned white water rafting is dangerous though.
btw, im coming to West Virginia in October, to go hiking with my army ranger brother. there is some national guard base he’s wanting to check out in the area. I guess he’s having a tough time moving on from army life, I think that’s common for veterans

My dad owns a camp on New River (close to Gully). As kids we’d watch rafters go by. We’d flirt with them too as teens
so I decided to postpone my trip until November. my birthday is on the 2nd. I will probably treat myself to two nights in a hotel. the location will have to be a day’s drive on the greyhound, I don’t want to spend two days in a greyhound station so somewhere relatively close.
