Poll - Mental and Physical Health Team - What does it Include?

i am getting amazing help…so is mrs. sith if she needs it.
it does still depend where you live as to the services available.
but i live near a rural university town which i think makes a difference.
i know i am lucky :four_leaf_clover: …though i do feel for other mentaly ill people and their unsupported carers who are not so fortunate.
take care :alien:

I see a nurse practitioner roughly every 6 months and am down to see pdoc if there is a crisis//emergency. I have GP but have only seen them once in the last 10 years. That was accompanied by 2 people from the rehab and recovery team. Considering I’d not been to the gp for over 8 years at that time she wasn’t that interested in how I was doing. Basically it was a waste of time . It’s pointless going about a psychiatric problem as all they all do is say they’ll mention to the psychiatric team and pointless going about a physical worry as they tend to say it’s due to the fsct you’re mentally ill. They send blood test forms from time to time but I never go for the follow ups or when they send letters re check ups.

I just started seeing my psychopharmacologist, and will be seeing her once a week for the foreseeable future. I see my GP twice yearly.
