Is anyone still under mental health?

Where you live the local authority pay for aftercare since being in psych hospital

In the Uk its called section 117 aftercare which is care in the community

How long have you been under aftercare or have you been discharged to your gp

My country doesn’t have that. I do see a psychiatrist, social worker, and therapist though.

I have a mental health team that I see multiple times a week.

I talk with my social worker once a week and my pdoc every two months. S nurse comes to my house to give me my injection of invega hafyera every six months.

I volunteered to leave the mental health team, they always made me feel worse. Now I just see a regular doc occasionally and I have a support worker who takes me grocery shopping, she’s really nice. I’m moving to a quiet town though, so I won’t have a support worker where I’m moving to

Spent about 16 years on a section,
The hardest thing I found in the system is the day to day poverty and it’s hardships.
My quote I made up
I had never met evil but however I did meet poverty

I don’t know what program I was on but got care after being released from the hospital. I would get sample packs of medication and somehow saw a doctor. I don’t know who was paying for it. About a a half a year later I got on ssi and that covered medication and doctor visits and got a monthly check. I’ve always gone to a clinic. I have a mental health team that consists of a prescriber, therapist, and a co care coordinator. I also go to their day program from time to time.
