- Yes
- No I can think of something else
Golf is the most boring sport to watch IMO. It’s not so bad when your playing, but I haven’t played for years.
I don’t really watch formula 1 either, but I imagine some might have a morbid fascination with crashes and this might make it less boring.
@el_Jimbobbio ohhhh boy I think we got a conflict
For me there’s lots of boring sports cause I’m not a sports guy. Cross country skiing is insanely boring to watch. I remember watching it as a kid and it has been something I relate to the word boredom. It’s popular in my country and I believe we are top in the world, but yeah
Honestly I think people watch nascar too see people crash there vehicles it’s the only reason I can think of and people could possibly DIE because of it for someone else’s enjoyment I hate it
I’m Canadian and there is hockey. It is the worst.
I’m not a big hockey fan but a playoff final for example can be pretty cool. Literally never seen a full game but I saw the end of one once and got why people watch it. Even more boring imo is basketball
Oh am a total f1 fanboy. But I do know where you are coming from. I used to find it dull dull dull.
Wasn’t till I started watching f1 chat shows and strategy shows. Slow and steady I started getting an appreciation of the many different ‘micro-competitions’ within a single race.
Now, like our friend @POET says, I love the sport and never get bored.
But, to reiterate, I totally see where folk who find it dull are coming from
It may make more sense if you know the rules and I don’t. Also, they don’t fight enough. I have seen Slap Shot with Paul Newman and I expect more fighting.
I once saw a documentary on how f1s are made. They actually make them so they break apart easily upon impact to keep the driver safe I think. The carbon fiber flies off and takes most of the impact of the crash so it like dissipates the energy
I personally enjoy F1 a lot. It is my favorite racing sport league. It’s a lot more exciting than just left turns in NASCAR. Plus the mechanics intrigue me and the driving is extremely hard, so that is exciting. And as for crashes, they’re a part of the sport, and no one gets hurt nowadays… hardly at least.
Yeah I think f1 cars pioneered ‘crumple zones’. A lot of normal road cars use this technology now
I voted yes but then I voted no because I remembered the people who in the pit work on the wheels that sort of interesting
Wow cool good to know brother!
ha going around in a circle for five hundred times seems like hell…haha
I think the annual bubble gum competition is quite boring. I even spent the $59.99 Pay Per View to watch the thing. Never again.
Running 10k or marathons are far more boring to watch in my opinion.
IMO most sports are pretty boring to watch except for World Cup soccer
Golf is a complete snooze fest
It tops the cake
I feel as @Wave …
All sports…
Except Premier league
Curling is not very exciting to watch. Not even if colorful pants are worn.
