There is no way I could afford to buy my teas or coffees exclusively ready made. Would cost a fortune.

Ps I drink LOADS of caffeine

  • Filter coffee
  • Cafetière (French press)
  • Coffee machine
  • Pods

I have a burr grinder that can be set to different degrees of coarseness, and a french press. I don’t mess around with my coffee.

I get my coffee either from my own coffee maker or from the dining room of my assisted living home.

I tried making my own coffee. I have a keurig. But it’s all nasty…so I just stick to Starbucks. It’s very expensive though so I only get it once or twice a week, if at all. When I made my own coffee I had a cup everyday.

I use folger’s classic roast coffee and a Mr. Coffee coffee machine…I wish I could buy Starbuck’s mocha frappachino…but alas…haha

Ive never been in a ‘Starbucks’ type place nor paid for any fancy shmancy coffee in my life.

I buy whole beans and grind them in my trusty grinder. Thanks to my ex, I have a Keurig, or else I’d still be making my Cup(s) o joe with a 'Wearever" …and they do, handed down to my by my mom, I’d never give this baby up for even a new Keurig.

I would like to brew a fresh pot every morning, but Mr. Star insists we use the Keurig. His logic is sound. If we make a whole pot, we will drink a whole pot, and we are both sensitive to caffeine. So we stick with the single servings. Every couple weeks, though, we go to this fantastic local coffee shop and have cappuccinos. That makes up for drinking sub-par Keurig coffee.

I drink soda, not coffee, for the morning kick

I use a cafetiere. But am thinking of getting one of these:

It makes very tasty coffee… and it looks rather nice as well I think  Only thing is you have to fill it up entirely, such that you can’t make three cups in a six cups sized model…

I have an old Russian samovar for my tea.
It’s a large silver pot with spouts. Mir was taken from a Russian home during World War Two by my Nazi grandfather and sent to the US as a souvenir

My co-person bought an espresso maker last year, so basically all coffee shop coffee is inferior to what she makes at home now. There wasn’t an option to vote for this!

I have only been to a Starbucks once in my life. I think I had some kind of pumpkin spice thingy, and it made me sick.
I sometimes have Tim Hortons dark roast coffee, but lately I am too paranoid for that. Even when I buy machine coffee from the store, I pick a random can from the back of the shelf, in case someone is setting me up.
Yes, I’m aware how that sounds.

No I’m the same exact way @butterflybrains
I am always afraid of buying food from restaurants because I think that my food is being tampered with.
I think that it’s part of my OCD.

I’m glad someone understands, thank you.
Yes, I have to check the hell out of my food an divide it into small sections before eating when I eat out, which I a rare occurrence anyways.
