No, never. They have always made it clear that meds is a psychiatrists business.

No, but a couple of doctors were pretty straightforward about it. There is such a thing as overmedication, and you don’t always have to be a doctor to see it.

Never, she has a background working with schizophrenia. She knows the meds help people. She’s more interested in working on how I react to the voices, and building up my resilience

Had one therapist tell me that I should come off of meds, was so high functioning I couldn’t possibly be SZ. That was a fun relapse.

I was once told it was a one time thing and go off meds, ended up back in hospital

No but they hinted I should take meds and I disagreed. Led to some hard years

No never, it was always me asking for recommendations of how long I need to remain on the ap for.

But my therapist only insisted I was overmedicated and should ask my doctor to reduce my dose significantly.

My psychiatrist did tell me that some people recover from schizoaffective disorder/schizophrenia with age.
