Please help injection possible?

I have a lot of unawareness and I lose my complete knowledge or awareness of what is going on. It stays for more than 5 minutes.

Is it practically possible to be injected with an AP Depot injection without noticing it?. Cause 2-3 days back I had a very strong delusion that I was injected.

Can anyone who is taking Depot shots please confirm if it is possible to be injected without noticing it in a state of delirium?.

You’re becoming more and more unwell, your delusions are branching out from being injected to your therapist being into you, to people disappearing when you glance at them.

Consider meds.

The sad thing is that I did have a Diabetes/Sugar test done today and was injected for the test. And the injection mark matches exactly a lot of marks in my buttocks…It just makes my delusions even worse :frowning:

It’s sounds like you’re having more delusions than just that recently. It’s getting worse by the sounds of things. Once you start to think you’re sane and everybody else is crazy, then you’ll be in big trouble.

The amount of times you think your getting injected you would have a very high dose of meds in your system. When you get injections it’s every 2 to 4 weeks not every day. Your delusional again, like you said yourself you have delusional disorder.

Yes am starting soon @Minnii

No, this isn’t possible. People are not waiting outside your house for days hoping to find a perfect moment when the door is open and your back is turned and you seem to have spaced out. Even if they were, the sensation of injection would bring you back and you would be aware of them standing there, restraining you, moving your clothing and stabbing you with a needle. You could not miss all of that.

Saurav, please take care of yourself. You are interesting and thoughtful and smart, and you are clearly suffering. Please don’t let your illness get the best of you.

I KNOW, that is a gone case. Something I dont want to fall into and I fear am heading towards that …I will not take a risk and take Antipsychotics.

How did it feel - did you notice it when they did it?

If you’re like most people - its very hard not to notice when someone shoves a needle in you - it hurts quite a bit.

Saurav ,

Everyone has random thoughts that flash through their minds , the problem with schiz is that the person cannot easily dismiss thoughts like the rest of the population.

Anything is possible. It is possible an asteroid will slam into the earth within the year, but it is highly unlikely. When I was psychotic I too had delusions that people were trying to medicate me against my will. I thought they were putting it in my food and drink. I would get a cup of coffee and drink it, and then think the coffee had Haldol in it. I would hurry up and buy caffeine pills to counteract the supposed Haldol. When I was at the hospital they would put a tray of food in front of me, and I would refuse to eat it and give to the people at the desk so they could check it for psychotropic drugs. It’s probably not an uncommon delusion among sz’s that people are trying to medicate them against their will.

And for many days after. I was given a shot of anti-inflammatory in my hip last Tuesday for a back injury I sustained at work. Still have a bit of a bruise from the injection and the injection site remains a bit tender.
