Plant -based meat anyone?

I think it’s great! Have you tried the latest? It’s gotten better. I’m going to buy fake sausage and English muffins and cheese slices for little homemade breakfast sandwiches.

I’ve been eating grass fed beef all my life and enjoying it.

That’s cool. I like real beef too. I’d say chicken is my favorite meat.

I’ve recently started eating Quorn, and I really like it!
Apparently it’s a meat replacement made from funghi.

It feels almost like real minced meat, and tastes fine.

I used to buy veggie burgers, but that and meat have gotten really expensive.

Real meat really heals when eaten in real context.

I would personally avoid chemical squeezes since it’s always is deprived from anything that’s remotely nutrient. And since humans can survive on scraps for really long time, we often see things being broken way too late. Only if we could fix our diet first.

So fixing diet should be life’s priority for every living human. Whatever your food philosophy is don’t deprive yourself.

Morning star upped the quality of their plant based meat. Plant protein, spices and soy free now

I eat Morningstar Grillers and I love their sausage patties. Never had one of those Impossible burgers and not interested.

I’m not vegetarian, but I do rotate the Morningstar products I like.

I wish they would Define what plant-based means. Technically, wood chips are plant-based. I like to know a little bit more about what I’m putting in my mouth. Also, I wonder with processing whether there’s any nutritional value in it whatsoever

Some of the products out there are pretty good.

I try them every now and then to get a break from the usual food choices.

Fixing a plant based burger right now actually. Just wish they weren’t so expensive.

Almost 12$ for 6 patties??? Yikes.

I’m vegan for the animals and then the environment.

I eat a lot of plant based meat.

I have vegan schnitzel a lot because it tastes good and is cheap.
Only $5 for four little schnitzels.

The vegan chicken pieces I put in stir fry are pretty expensive at $10 so i don’t buy that often.i use them for vegan chicken stir fry with hokkien.

They are starting to offer plant based vegan meat at restaurants now.

I had vegan satay chicken and it tasted just like chicken.was delicious.

It’s a lot healthier for you than meat.

I read dr greger how not to die and he says plant based diet is the healthiest for you.heart, co. Etc

There’s a vegetarian restaurant here that serves Asian food and lots of dishes with plant based meat. I’ve only been twice though. Once I was going to my grocery store and some Hispanics we’re trying to find the restaurant and they were very far away. I had been studying Spanish for awhile but couldn’t think of the right words. They were about three miles off.

I’ve had Quorn products a few times. They’re OK. Other supermarket vegetarian/vegan products are rather crap . I’ve had several goes of trying more vegetarian/vegan stuff and over 50% of it went in the bin; because I couldn’t stomach eating any more of it. I increasingly see mention of plant based products,. I’ve bought some Birds Eye 2 Green Cuisine Vegetarian Cauliflower, Sundried Tomato & Mozzarella Burgers to try. Just need to get some burger buns.
