I really want an industrial piercing but my mother said no way! lol I’ll probably get it anyway but just your thoughts does it really look that bad?
With the advances on computers today you could probably find a simple photoshop program for free. Paste a few photos of yourself and edited it a bit and see what you’d look like with one in in. In fact the shareware version of photoshop may do the job as it is. Beats having regrets later. Might also be what convinces your mum for you to go through with it.

Well I think piercings should be minimalist… Not a fan of tongue, nose, eyebrow or anything too big and obvious.

I have a nose piercing but wear a clear retainer so no one can see it when I’m at work…
I think piercings are vulgar, but, then, I also think women drinking beer or not crossing their legs is also vulgar.

My kid sisters friend has an industrial piercing like that… she gets her hair caught on it all the time and then has to scream OW… OW… OW… a lot…
It also kills her swim caps.
Something smaller might work… if you end up hating it… you can always let it close over.

The only kind of piercings I like on females, are regular ear piercings on the ear lobes and nose piercings.
I am not a big fan of the industrial style piercing - it seems like its a bit too much and could get in the way
