I agree witb that to a point, except madness isn’t always genius. Lots of times madness is just an out of control, ranting, terrified, jumbled mess of screaming words and terror. Just sayin’

Yes. Don’t mean to be a downer… I’ve seen both in my own family. Madness can both create and destroy great and beautiful people and things.

When that was said -it was probably true - i.e. in the 1960s when people were a lot more conformist and old fashioned. Today everybody does it.
