Anyone else see peoples suffering in photographs?

I get very nostalgic and a bit morose about old photos, black and white photos from the early 19th century of my area and its people, things have changed so much and i always have this horrible eary feeling bc all the people in the photographs are gone now 
makes me feel sad and as if life is meaningless in a way, i try to think they all had a good life but idk its creepy.

If you are taking photos of bad stuff, yes. If they are photos of cats, then no. Every cat photo is adorable.
I don’t take those kinds of photos.
No youse don’t get me.
I don’t see the photos as they really are.
I see peoples past suffering in them or if they’ve just died I see they are at peace.
