Old pictures

Anyone have a hard time look at old pictures? I can see so clearly in my eyes how unwell I was. Why couldn’t anyone else? Anyhow, I want to go through pictures, and decide what to do with the ones in which I look ill. Do you throw yours out? It hurts to look at them.

Most of the pictures from when i haven’t been doing well are digital.

I do want to delete some of them, but I don’t want to tell others to delete them.
I had an old classmate pester me about deleting some group photos she was in because she didn’t like to be reminded of how she used to look, and I just found that selfish and annoying.

But I don’t like to be reminded of who I once was, even though I know I can’t delete my past.

There are some pictures that are hard to look at, because at the time I had a eating disorder nd looked like a skeleton. When I was a teen. Then there are some where I remember looking good but those pics have gone missing.

I find it hard to look at pictures of me when I was well. One thing that I notice immediately is how animated my face was. Now I have a flat affect.

I feel sad when I look at my younger days pics when I looked pretty damn good.

But my looks were useless. I lived in a neighborhood where there were no girls, and attended and all boys school.

All photos that other people take of me look really bad. Even the ones taken by professional photographers. I guess I am just an ugly person. The best photos of me are the selfies I take of myself.

I threw out old boyfriends pictures, when I was drunk, and wish I hadn’t.

I have good pictures and bad, going through different fads, trends, hairstyles
