People who've beat Truman Show Syndrome

Yes, I do have experiences that I’m still trying to make sense of. To be honest, I’m not sure how to process them. In my early 20s, I had strange encounters where people would approach me, know my name, and greet me warmly, often using my first name. These incidents only occurred when I was alone, never when I was with my mother.

There was one particular experience with a friend of the family, Ronda. We spent time together near the beach, where she and some of my family members lived. I felt unusually confident, like I had finally found a fake romantic connection. However, things took a strange turn when someone approached us and asked, ‘How are you, Rick, and your family friend Ronda doing?’

So as you can see, I’ve had some really bizarre and unsettling experiences that I’m still trying to cope with.

It’s sad seeing so many Michelangelo’s, Einstein’s and Mozart’s got lost to childhood trauma. @Ducky
