I live in the netherlands but if i get it right if it gets ema approval then its possible to prescribe it. Or need there be taken another step?
The CHMP (Dutch medicine authority) approved to market Cariprazine on the 29th of June. I guess it’s available in the pharmacy in a couple of weeks.
Is there an article about it?
He iz from ur country …sup patient…

Do u have pdf about min 101 …
Yes but i cant post it because im not a member
Waar staat dan iets over 29 juni?
The info given to me was apparently wrong, sorry about that. I did send that email and that’s what they told me yesterday. Great that it’s coming out in the Netherlands though.
Sorry, verkeerd gelezen. Artikel is van 29 juni. Maar er staat in dat de CHMP de beslissing op 18/19 mei heeft genomen. CHMP is de medicatie autoriteit van NL.
En weet jij hoe lang het duurt voordat het op de markt is?
Might as well write in English so everybody can understand. Anyways, with google translate I understand what you guys said, I think. CHMP is The Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use, which is EMA’s committee responsible for human medicines(a part of EMA), so basically I don’t think I was wrong. 18 May was when we got the article about EMA positive opinion, so the article is just the same thing on in Dutch on a site that’s read in the Netherlands, I think.
You’re right @anon32099838 2 months almost past, I’m guessing, with this news of 29th of June about the positive decision of the CHMP (already taken in 18th of May) it’s just a matter of couple of weeks before it hits the market in the Netherlands (and also the rest of the European Union). @patient
Are you gonna try it?
I want! But I live in Spain so I think it is not here yet
For sure! 37mg Latuda (which I’m on right now) in combination of the lowest dose of Zyprexa (2,5mg) are the best antipsychotics I’ve been on for psychotic symptoms and with this combination I am positive symptoms free (been on Risperdal, Abilify and Zyprexa alone). Latuda is also activating for me in a positive way but unfortunately it also results in compulsive gambling which I hope another activating drug like Cariprazine may change. My issues right now are mainly negatives and cognitive. Anyway, I have to wait till after this summer before I can start. After my long backpack vacation I’m giving Cariprazine (which will be my main drug of choice) a chance and if necessary I will change my whole drug regiment (Mirtazapine, Zyprexa, Clonazepam) to make this drug work (to give it a chance in doing so).
It’ll be in a couple of weeks as Spain is also a EU country.
I’m new to this board. I’ve been taking Vraylar for over a week. It’s helped tremendously with my depression. I’m getting a lot done as it makes me feel manic. My anxiety is decressed as well. What I’m worried about is the irritated feeling I have all the time. Everyone bothers me. I rage on the road (just yelling at drivers, nothing dangerous!) and I’m getting around 4 hours of sleep a night on Sonata and a benzo. Did these symptoms get better for anyone here? Did you just ride it out and things improved? I’m wondering if I should add a half a Seroquel at bedtime?
