This Sz Forum tries to cultivate perfect little Sz robots where every day is sunshine and lollipops. If you don’t follow this script, you get suspended…your threads get removed or locked…or flagged.
In other words, being a complicated human being (like we all are) is a no-no around here. It really does reach ridiculous heights sometimes.

I expect this thread to be closed by a mod.
Of course it will be locked…because we’re acting like normal human beings. Having an open discussion about stuff that is bothering us. And you just are not allowed to do that on this forum.

I have no idea who’s doing it daze. I flagged a couple of people but not you.
Daze never raises hell. She just tells it like it is…doesn’t pull any punches. And this drives the little snowflakes of this forum up the wall.

Keep it simple. Be civil and supportive. It’s not rocket science and it’s easy to do.
I get banned a bit around here. I accept that and learn. It happens move on!

It can but you’ve got to understand this is a little different a community. I fail to recognize that sometimes to my detriment! I like to chat and say things but sometimes it’s not good for others.
The mods deal with some serious work. Lots of unhinged people who can cause damage to the community. It’s just the nature of the beast. I’m not a fan of too much moderation but realize it’s needed here. Yeah it sux when your a victim but if your getting flagged your saying some things that affect others.
I try not to affect others with my posts and I’m quickly corrected if I have an opinion. I live with that and can accept that. Come and play. Just leave the swords in the shed. It’s not good for the community to be endlessly saying your getting undue attention when your making undue attention!

@PatrickT It’s a slippery slope. I don’t mind it. It can get toxic rather quickly and that is the problem.
Yeah censorship sux. In this forum sometimes it’s just necessary. You can’t have people going off about things when some are struggling. It sets a bad framework which isn’t necessary.
I’m still an individual. I accept some things I say get me in trouble and I wear that. It’s ok to have an opinion which helps the community. It’s not sane to have one that causes troubles for others!

I have schizophrenia. I’m also an adult and don’t need to be coddled, patronized or scolded at every turn. I’m not a 3 year old toddler. I’m married…have kids…live in a house…I work…I have a lot of responsibilities and didn’t come to this site to be treated like a moronic infant.

Mate it’s a fair argument and I have been there.
Sadly. Others here aren’t as agile in the mind as me. They have symptoms different from me. It’s a different trigger for them and I need to respect that.
Trust me. I fought for years against some pretty seriously flawed people but in the scheme of things…My needs aren’t as good for me as they are for the community as a whole.
I respect that! I have to realize that some here do more poorly than me and need help. I have to respect that!

So it’s a race to the bottom then? The lowest common denominator wins the day around here, and to hell with everyone else who dares to voice a different opinion.
How about we lift others up, instead of bringing everyone else down for a change. And the way to do that is by realizing that we are all complicated human beings who have good and bad days. We aren’t perfect people. And we aren’t children who need timeouts ie suspensions…locked and deleted threads.

relax @PatrickT sometimes you deserved some of the bans on you before…you have got out of line…I was banned when I was out of line…everybody needs to get along in here and it’s easy to be careful what you say so you don’t hurt others…you need to chill bro…

No. It’s about being real and responsive to the needs of others.
It’s nothing like a race to the bottom. Yeah you might do well. You can’t expect to get kudos everytime you butter your toast.
It’s a delicate thing. I’m not saying it’s easy. It’s a horrible job for the mods. I don’t envy that power. And. It’s always a matter of taste and knowledge with a sense of responsibility . That is so important. You can’t just go off about some things. You need to know others do more poorly than you.
Participate in those boundaries and it’s fine. Yeah mate. I’ve been there often enough. Shite I have more bans here than most people but I still have a valid opinion to some. Not all and that is cool!
Be respectfull that others aren’t as functioning as you!

Two things occur when you try to subvert who people truly are.
a) They start to leave in droves.
b) A few of us stick around and try to right the ship…like me and Daze.
