Paying it Backwards at the Tim Horton's Drive Thru

So today in line at the coffee drive thru, the car in front of me paid for my order…two coffees. I figured that was swell and paid for the person’s order in the car behind me…5 bucks. I also tipped the clerk a twoonie. Why should he be missing out on the action?

I just wonder how long this lasted in the line-up…how many cars paid it backwards.

It didn’t cost me anything more…my two light ice cap coffees were probably 7 dollars, so I broke even anyways.

This would NEVER EVER happen in Jersey where I am from

Canada is a much friendlier region

I’m not so sure @Wave

In my travels South, I’ve found my American neighbours to be very warm and friendly. I could see this type of thing playing out in The States somewhere.
