All these years my diagnosis swung between SZ and bipolar.
Maybe now I’ll finally get some answers!

As I explained on the he “new” forum, I probably won’t be posting on here much anymore.

As the link from @everhopeful indicates, there seems to be a trend now for medical professionals to start differentiating between schizophrenia and bipolar through genetic testing.

In my one year absence from this forum, I finally had my whole genome sequenced.

According to my “mynucleus” app from Nucleus Genomics, my probabilistic tendency for bipolar is nearly a standard deviation higher than the same for schizophrenia, and the latter isn’t very high. So, I think I’d feel like a fool if I were to post much on a schizophrenia forum.

(Edit) Also, a psychologist gave me an extensive, hours long test and evaluation, and diagnosed me with Bipolar I. I got the results yesterday. (/Edit)
