I can’t stop. .moving…anyone got any tricks to stop pacing…its a side effect of my meds . .I think idk but any help would be nice
Were you prescribed Benzos?
You can ask your doctor if this will help with the Akathisia

I got pills for it but they make me too sleepy…
I would get in touch with your pdoc and tell him.
Akathisia is very uncomfortable.
Can you get in touch with him/ her right away?

No she’s not there on mondays
What works for me is taking extra Klonopin.
If you were prescribed a medication that helps combat the Akathisia you have the choice of wether to take it or not.
If things get out of hand and you cannot teach your doctor and you cannot tolerate your prescribed meds, then I would maybe go to the ER

I was clenching my teeth so bad on the serequell my face hurt, my teeth hurt, akathesia too. Any advice on a side effect free ap med? Is there such a thing?

I had a major thing with pacing and being restless. I still kind of do, actually.
What helped me was getting outside and walking for like one to two hours at a time. It got that pacing bug out, plus it was good for general physical health.
Took kickboxing, upped my stability level and also I quit pacing. Only thing, now I tend to kick in my sleep lol, I wake up to a little thud and it’s my leg coming down in a roundhouse kick to the bed.
I can’t sit still through a movie, too restless. Usually, I go take a walk half way through the movie. Come back, finish movie.
Walks help. Some kind of physical activity helps exhaust that brain circuitry area, I think.

What kind of pills you got?
Doctors here usually prescribe diazepam and then moderate the dose.
It sucks yesterday I drank an energy drink to counter the meds sleepyness I could feel sound like bugs on my skin while pacing…
Cogentin is for pacing but makes me sleepy…so I just pace
If it is akathisia they can sometimes prescribe certain meds. In the uk the go to is procyclidine (think you can’t get this in the us).
If it gets real bad I’ll take one of thosethosethose maybe…I hate pacing…
I would try diazepam 2 mg…won’t do any harm either way.

I agree that a benzo helps the akathisia, but it’s not a good long term solution.
I agree with you @Minnii, Benzos are addictive and cause tolerance.
There are other meds out there.
For some reason I thought that he was taking a Benzo already and that he could take it to help ease the Akathisia - on a temporary basis until he can reach his doctor.

No I have access to a pill that helps but makes me sleepy so I was looking for some non drug advice on it
Yeah, I was just being captain obvious here 
I think flame is taking Gabapentin if i’m not mistaken
