I have learned to only use dual motors when climbing a hill. It can accelerate dangerously on level ground. It stays in single-motor mode most of the time.

I have also ordered an entry-level one for my wife so we can tool around together. She’s not going to use it to the extent I do mine, so I got her a light unit. If it turns out she uses it a lot I’ll give the light one to my daughter and buy her another one like I have.

Still waiting for Amazon to shop the isinwheel. They are SLOW.

Update: Amazon emailed to say there will be a delay on the isinwheel - like a month. I decided to upgrade my wife’s ride to this:

It’s close to what I have, but she won’t be using hers as hard as I use mine. Should be a good compromise. I cancelled the isinwheel order.

45 km/h top speed. You’d feel like your flying on that!

Lots of motorized skateboards, hoverboards, and gyroscopically stabilized unicycles on the bike path last night. Those look a LOT more sketchy than my scooter.

Nipped to the store for some crushed tomatoes and Greek yogurt.

Do you use it on the pavement or road and is it electrically powered or something ?

Paved pathways that run through my entire town:

Yes. Dual front and back motors and a high-capacity battery. It will go up to 40 km on one charge depending on how hard one drives it.

Lol I’ve been wondering if you’ve lost your appetite. The ankle biting seems to have subsided.

I want a scooter so bad. I could save so much on gas going to work and back. I also wouldn’t need to be 2 hours early when I have to take the bus and get out on time, too.

I have gone over sticks, roots, and gravel. It’s the off-road model. Keeping the speed reasonable is key.

What kinds of hills do you have on your commute?

You know how some people here say they almost never bathe?

They ain’t kiddin’.
