Over sleeping

Does anyone else sleep way too much? I think it’s due to my depression. I love sleeping and do it often. It’s how I get away from my problems.

I love dreamless sleep, when I’m close to oblivion, no past, no future, peaceful, calm, serene. That’s the depression in me, I think.
Reminds me of nothingness, and for some reason that’s a comfort to me.

Dreams are another story

I don’t really like dreaming either. My dreams are usually negative. I feel you on that one. @Ooorgle

I think psychosis and dreams can be interconnected, nights I spend what feels like years dreaming normally are accompanied by voices the next day.

Wishing you well my northern neighbor

I can so relate with the escaping the depression part. Just sleep away the boring hours.
It’s just too many hours to do stuff in. That’s wat I mean. A few hours I can do though.

I was just going to lie down and close my eyes for a couple minutes before my doctors appointment and I even set an alarm just to be safe and I slept right through the alarm and missed the appointment. Oh how I love to sleep.

If given enough time I’ll sleep a lot, but I don’t have that time. I was really tired on abilify, but not so tired on risperdal. One thing that helped me with abilify tiredness was theacrine; this supplement would give me energy throughout the day without any negative side effects of caffeine.
