Understandable. In many western countries people get less offspring. I think the ratio in Norway is 1,7 newborns per couple, so the population is trending downwards.

They need to turn every stone to be able to meet the employment demand for the future.

Very unfair to offer fewer benefits to those who have paid in more over a longer term. It should apply to all at the same time.
