Out of anxiety meds early

So I take 400mg of gabapentin a day. 200mg at 5am and 200mg at 5pm. I usually get anxious around 10am when it starts to wear off. So I’ve been taking 200mg at 10 or 11am. So now I’m out. My doctors appointment is Monday so hopefully I can get more. I’m nervous to tell her I’ve been taking extra. I don’t want her to think I’m abusing it. She had suggested I take 600mg a day at first but I talked her into 400mg.

Now I’m out and I have butterflies and chest tightness and I’m to nervous to do anything.

I did that earlier lol. I took two melatonin curled up in a ball and tried to sleep

similar problems here.

i know one of my mental health workers told me the 400mg got taken out of my pack morning and night so ive been taking it seperately each day morning and night. botles been filled by the pharmacy so i assumed this was right but they told me yesterday that it was wronh and there was no information in their records. ive been taking 800mg too much for months.

so far im ok with the reduction but its day one. this just makes me suspicious of them even more. all the info theyve been sending the courts for years is fabricated. im not doing well or being treated decently.

Okay, sorry but you have a history of taking extra meds not prescribed. With gabapentin, you can’t do that. Because if you run out, you are going to feel bad. It’s the kind of med that has to be tapered not suddenly stopped. Next time, call the doctor before you run out, so your doctor will send in more for the increased dose. Just be wise about it.

Yeah thanks. I didn’t realize I was so low. Till it was late. I’m really good at telling what effects pills have on me. 400mg a day is too low. I could tell after 3 days. My anxiety is terrible. And you are right. Now I feel terrible.

Yeah, I get it though. Hey, you can see how well it works for you so that’s good. I hope you get some more Monday. You are going to feel bad today and tomorrow though. Try to employ all your calming techniques as best you can.

Classical music is on. In bed with a candle lit. I usually start to feel better around 6.
