Is it worth it? My parents have been wasting money on organic food including meat and it annoys me but its their money. I live with them and eat their food, I didn’t notice any difference in organic food. They paid 16$CA for one uncooked organic chicken while I ordered last week a ready to eat grilled whole chicken for 8$CA online.
I think organic food is a scam.
I think organic vegetables may taste better but i dont know im too poor for organic food lol
In another thread @shutterbug and I were talking about organics. The US vs Canada seems to be quite a bit different. There’s a Scientific American article from about a decade ago that talks about a bunch of the myths within the US, but I’m not sure about Canada.
Largely, though, it’s marketing.
I don’t think there is a huge difference between organic and non organic foods.
Maybe I’m wrong
Actually the only real difference is the price.
Organic food is more expensive
most of the organic processed stuff ive had from whole foods like hot dogs and baked stuff tasted like shittier more overpriced versions of the non organic food
