One of the best therapies for schiz

I discovered one of the best therapies for schiz.

Chess

If you’re recovering from schizophrenia playing chess is one of the best things you can do. It helps with memory. It helps with planning ahead. It helps with critical thinking skills and logic. It helps in a number of ways and if you have nothing to do it’s fun.

I taught myself how to play. I played every day for years and progressively I got better at it. Overall I do believe it helped in my recovery.

I’ve been on a low dose of medication for 23 years. It took me about 5 years to recover. Chess changed the way I thought. It changed the way I see the world. Best of all it’s exercise for the brain.

If you’re capable I suggest you give it a try.

I like chess also but I don’t own a board and I haven’t played in a while. I do other puzzles for the brain though. I’ve noticed that over time my thinking has improved. Still some ways t o go but it is better than it was. I’m glad it has had such a good impact on you.

i read and read when i am up to it.\

it also helps much.
