My daughter has ADHD. She was a good fish eater thankfully so a very common snack for her was kippered herring. This was before we found out about the mercury issues. Also to calm her down we would use a spoon full of peanut butter, which is high in omega 6. Not sure why that worked but it’s a known thing for kids with ADHD also. She had that almost every afternoon during her after school transition as transitions were difficult for her and she would totally lose it, the peanut butter calmed her back down.
